Eddie Van Halen’s 2004 Charvel Art Series #80 Milwaukee Wisconsin “FIRST 5150 MADE!”

This EVH Art Series Charvel, #80, is from the first run of Ed’s creations in 2004 and it is the VERY FIRST 5150 THAT ED MADE in the run of 300 Charvel Art Series guitars that Ed personally striped and played on stage. This was played by Ed on November 3, 2004 in Milwaukee Wisconsin. This was during Ed’s “Samurai Hair” era. This is my favorite Charvel Art Series guitar and in my opinion, the best guitar out of the 300 that were striped and played by Ed. This Charvel is extremely unique with Ed’s notes and artwork. As you can see in the photos, this is what Ed has drawn and written on the guitar:
Front:
Milwaukee, Wi. 11-3-’04 with an “eye” next to the letter “i”.
Signed “Eddie Van Halen eHHe!!
“5” Quotation mark in front of number 5 and 5150 + 5150 = ??.
“1” Dice with two dots, number 1, dice with one dot =3.
“5” Dice with five dots, number 5, dice with five dots.
“0” Eyelashes around it with an arrow pointing at the zero. Could be a Union Jack in the middle. Quotation mark after number 0 and “How Do It Know??” next to it.
A potentiometer or resistor schematic sign connecting two black stripes.
Around the tone knob are arrows in different directions and three setting markers.
Back and inside horn:
M.F.L.U. ALL on the back and inside the cutaway of the lower horn.
The guitar comes from the original owner and it was never played…just put away in the case. The strings from that show are still on the guitar. The original certificate that is signed by Ed, a photo of Ed playing the guitar on stage, and the original case are included. This is a very early serial number! Don’t pass this up. If you want to share a piece of Ed and what was in his heart and mind, this is the guitar for you!”
