2011 NAMM Prototype EVH Wolfgang Custom

A very rare 2011 Prototype EVH Wolfgang Custom that was featured at the 2011 NAMM Show. This prototype was made at the Corona factory and does not have a serial number. It originally came with no pickups, but the correct factory EVH pickups were installed. Being a prototype and a test guitar for new ideas, two things have been done to this guitar at the factory. The electronics in the control cavity looks to be sloppy, experimental in a way, and there are sanded areas in an attempt by Fender to relic this guitar. This is not damage from a fall or accident, but very precise and deliberate sanding.  As you know, Fender later came out with a relic EVH model.
