Kenny Olson’s Fender Custom Shop Ford Mustang Stratocaster

You are looking at Kenny Olson’s Fender Custom Shop Ford Mustang Stratocaster. Fender designed this in conjunction with the Ford Motor Company to commemorate the 35th anniversary of the legendary Ford Mustang. Fender made a limited run of 35 of these guitars. This is # 4 of 35 and the guitar is in excellent condition. The body is made out of chromed aluminum and has the Ford Mustang hood ornament. The three control knobs are original 1964 Mustang radio controls. Only 15 of these guitars were offered to the public making this guitar very rare. This guitar is featured on the Kid Rock music video “American Bad Ass”.  It is also featured on the inside sleeve of Kid Rock’s CD “Cocky”. In addition, it was featured on the cover of the October 2000 issue of Guitar One Magazine “Road Rage”. Kenny used this guitar on several Kid Rock tours and on stage with Metallica on three different occasions on the Metallica 2000 Summer Sanitarium Tour. Kenny filled in for James Hetfield when he injured his back. The guitar comes with a letter and photo from Kenny, an issue of Guitar One Magazine “Road Rage”, and a copy of Northern Express magazine where Kenny is featured on the cover with this guitar.
