Click on a photo to view full size image

Guitarist extraordinaire – Jennifer Batten’s Custom Made Ibanez Roadstar that was used on the Michael Jackson Bad 1987-1989 tours and repainted for the Dangerous Tour in 1992. Originally green in color and featured on the July 1989 cover of Guitar Player Magazine, it was later repainted by the famous artist Pamelina. Custom made by Ibanez for Jennifer, it has an original Floyd Rose, and a Duncan hot rail in the bridge and Duncan hot stacks in the other 2 positions. There is also a one of a kind autograph from Nigel Tuffnel of Spinal Tap on the back of the guitar. Jennifer sat in with Spinal Tap when they played at the Universal Amphitheatre in 1992. Jeff Beck also autographed the guitar when he came to a clinic that Jennifer did at a Wembley Music Convention, long before Jennifer joined Jeff’s band. Jeff made an air pocket between his and Nigel’s signatures as a joke since Nigel got his whole schtick from Jeff. The Spinal Tap sticker has since been replaced with an Eat Shift GRUNGE pedal sticker by Digitech. There’s also an autograph by Spinal Tap’s David St. Hubbins on the back of the guitar as well. All three autographs are a bit worn from rubbing against Jennifer’s clothes while playing. Jennifer also did a video for “Flight of the Bumble Bee” which explains the bee stickers. Jennifer recorded her 1st CD “Above, Below, And Beyond” with it. It has been around the world countless times. Comes with a letter and current photo of Jennifer with the guitar, a photo of Jennifer on stage with Michael Jackson with the guitar, and a photo of Jennifer with Slash playing this guitar live as well.
