Tony Iommi’s Laney Full Stack Used With Black Sabbath On The David Letterman Show & ESPN Awards

This is Tony Iommi’s 1990s Laney full stack, which Tony used live with Black Sabbath on The David Letterman Show in 1998 and at the ESPN Awards in 2001. Black Sabbath played “Paranoid” at both of these events. These amps would also have been used for recording sessions in Los Angeles from the late 1990s through the mid-2000s. The stack conssits of: Laney GH 100S head and 2 Laney GS412L 4×12 cabinets. The backs of the cabinets have handwritten markings from the stagehands, noting which side of the stage they were set up on during the shows. The writing on the back of the cabinets was not done by Mike Clement. The “L.A.” marking on the back of the head, however, was written by Mike.

This comes with a detailed letter from my old dear friend Mike Clement, who was Tony’s tech for over 30 years.
