Decorative Hand Printed Cloth Back Drop From The 2002 Concert For George

This decorative hand printed cloth was used as part of the stage dressing at the 2002 Concert For George held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on the 29th of November.  The concert commemorated the 1st anniversary of George Harrison’s passing. Many musicians performed at the concert including Eric Clapton, Jeff Lynne, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, Andy Fairweather Low, Dhani Harrison, Albert Lee, Tom Petty, Joe Brown, Gary Brooker, Chris Stainton, Billy Preston, Jools Holland, Jim Capaldi, Ray Cooper, Emil Richards and more. The cloth is approx. 27 yards long and 13 inches wide. It has Velcro strips right along each side underneath.  Bill Harrison who was a member of the stage crew kept this as a memento as it was otherwise going to be disposed of.
