Eric Clapton’s 1992 MTV Unplugged Leather Jacket

This is Eric Clapton’s MTV Unplugged leather jacket. This XL leather jacket was made by the Golden Bear Company and presented to Eric Clapton on the occasion of his legendary 1992 MTV Unplugged performance. The jacket features an embossed guitar-shaped “Unplugged” design on the left breast and matching “Unplugged” lettering embossed across the lower back. Eric tried the jacket on during the filming period but decided it wasn’t quite his style. He handed it to his production manager, saying it was “more his thing.” The manager wore it afterward, and as a result, the jacket shows some light wear and scuffing consistent with gentle use. Overall, it remains in very good original condition. This is a high-quality jacket with direct connection to one of the most iconic performances in Clapton’s career. Included are five original baseball caps from the show, along with an original, unused MTV Unplugged backstage pass dated 1/16.
