Mike used this bass for double tracking on many of the songs on Alice In Chains album Dirt. According to Evan Sheeley who was the owner of Bass Northwest in Seattle, and who did work with Mike Starr and Alice In Chains on their first two studio albums, was who was there during the recording of Dirt, said the following:

“Actually, many of the songs on Dirt have the black Kramer Ferrington bass double tracked with the white Spector NS-2. I also sold both of those basses to Mike.”

This was part of Mike’s personal collection and comes in the original gig bag (stickers put on by Mike), and comes with a letter from Mike’s sister, Melinda Starr.
