Billy is pictured here with his Yamaha APX 9-12 12 string acoustic with built-in stereo electronics & pick-up. This is from the mid ’80′s. Blue sunburst finish with composite/wood back & sides. It can be panned RRR, LLL, or RLRLRL. This is one of the earliest APX designs. Billy used to write & party only with this guitar. It was never used to record or used live. Billy is pictured here with his famous Yamaha Attitude Ltd. 2 Bass. The original green finish was chromed & LED’d by Sims Custom Shop in England. This bass was used live on tour with Mr. Big, Steve Vai, and the Japanese Group “B’z” . This is the bass used for the opening songs of the double platinum DVD “Steve Vai Live at the London Astoria”, the opening song on the Mr. Big Farewell Tour, and the encore songs from the “B’z”lLive Gym 2001″ tour.
