The bass was made for Tony Franklin by the Fender Custom Shop in 2000, by Master Builder Todd Krause. Todd has built instruments for Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Keith Richards and Roger Waters, to name but a few. The bass is an exact replica of Tony’s “Firm” Fretless P Bass, except this has an ebony fingerboard, and is sunburst, not black. Tony has used it on many many gigs and sessions between 2000 and 2011. The fingerboard was resurfaced in 2011. This bass is a “One Off”.
These cymbal stands were part of Keith’s copper and white Premier drum kit that Keith used on stage from the mid 1970′s. These come directly from a member of The Who’s road crew and a letter of provenance from the crew member is included.
Keith Moon’s broken Rogers Super Soul drum stick from the November 4th 1971 gig at the Rainbow Theater in Finsbury Park North London. Comes with a letter of provenance from the gentleman that was at the show and who personally picked up the stick from the stage.
