Jimi Hendrix’s 1968 Fender Dual Showman 2×15 Cabinet

Jimi Hendrix’s 1968 Fender Dual Showman 2×15 enclosure. Pictured with Jimi’s 1968 Martin D-45 and 1967 Gibson Flying V. Purchased from Bonhams August 1994 Auction. We had two of these Fender cabinets and sold one to the Experience Music Project (EMP). This was used from 1968 onwards in
the USA tours, with Showman heads, sometimes Fender Twins (unusual).
This one works fine. The one we sold to EMP in Seattle in the 90’s did not work.

This one has JBL speakers fitted at Fender in ’69. They must have blown. There’s a service stamp inside with a 1969 date and possibly the JBL badge was added on the front then. We don’t know for sure if it was on from day one, but this is how Jimi used it in ’69 and ’70. Please inquire for price and details.
