Pete Townshend’s #3 1973 Gibson Les Paul Deluxe

Pete’s #3 Les Paul Deluxe that was used on the Quadrophenia tour. There is footage in 1974 of Pete using this guitar on the song “Drowned”. Pete broke the headstock and cracked the neck joint in concert during the tour and was repaired with The Who and quite possibly used again by Pete. It still has the original strings and the #3 tape residue is still on the guitar. Comes with letters from Pete’s tech and road manager and a photo of Pete playing this guitar live at the Charlton Football Club 1974. Please inquire for price. An incredible piece of rock history!
